読売 美術館と出版社、提携で“両得” 展覧会カタログ書籍化

書籍化すると、全国の書店を通じ、展覧会終了後も入手できる。販路が広がるため、美術館側の経費負担は軽くなる。出版社は美術館の人脈や企画力を生かし、独力で編集するよりも、安く良質な本を作れる。著作権処理などの面では、書籍化を前提とした手続きが必要となるが、今や多くの版元が参入している。例えば美術出版社は２００１年以降、約１０冊を刊行する。

客としても書籍化されたほうが嬉しいです。
できれば価格がもっと下がれば良いんだけど。
